November 15, 2013, Manila, Philippines – The executive management team of FirstCarbon Solutions (FCS), ADEC Innovations, was awarded the KPMG Executive Leadership Team of the Year award in the Asia CEO Awards 2013 held at the Solaire Resort & Casino, Thursday night, November 14, 2013.
The Asia CEO Awards is an annual event that recognizes the outstanding leadership achievements of individuals and organizations in the Philippines. ADEC Innovations was likewise a finalist in the Most Innovative Company of the Year category.
The firm’s executives were recognized for being able to expand their business from a small enterprise into a global firm. FCS and ADEC Innovations Global Chief Executive Officer James M. Donovan and Global Chief Financial Officer Carol S. Esguerra co-founded ADEC Innovations in 1996. In his speech, Mr. Donovan noted that: “From just two employees about 18 years ago, ADEC Innovations has grown to over 5,500 employees located in five continents.”
The KPMG Executive Leadership Team of the Year award is given to an executive management team that has achieved important success while overseeing a global business enterprise. The team should have also demonstrated exceptional leadership skills resulting in the growth of shareholder value.
Because of its performance, ADEC Innovations and FCS have been recognized by various organizations. Aside from winning the KPMG Executive Leadership Team of the Year award, ADEC Innovations was likewise a finalist in the Most Innovative Company of the Year category. The company was also a finalist in the Most Innovative Company of the Year and Executive Leadership Team of the Year categories in the Asia CEO Awards 2012.
On the other hand, FirstCarbon Solutions won as Most Innovative BPO Company of the Year at the 5th ICT International Awards Philippines and was also named as having the Best Eco-Industrial Service at the 1st Philippine International Eco-show Awards in 2010.
